We have a problem

Houston ... wait ... Arctic ... we have a problem.

Had wanted to plant all the stuff we bought from the nursery but the forecast says no. When I looked a couple of weeks ago at the forecast it looked like we were past the last frost. And we were, for those two weeks.

So for now I will need to remember to water the plants for the next week and try to get them planted NEXT Tuesday.

I did get out and plant some more sweet corn. With this weather I will likely have six plantings of corn all ready at the same time.

Also planted some sunflowers yesterday. Opps, just looked now ... they take about 14 days to come up so the next frost shouldn't be an issue.

We have moles. They, or something else, likes my sunflower seeds. So this year I cut the bottoms off of last years pots and planted the seeds in them. Hopefully it makes it more work for them than it's worth so they leave the seeds alone.

I should have watered yesterday when I thought about it. Was thinking I'd do it today but our city has an odd/even watering ban all year so I will have to wait until tomorrow. It was a week yesterday since we had the good 1 inch soaker.
