Snow ... cold

Things were much more 'garden friendly' last week. We've had a few inches of snow on Sunday and flurries a few times since then so not much for yard work.

I have spent a little bit of time digging and clipping routes, picking rocks and chopping my compost into small enough chucks to move.

For now, I am moving all the compost to the middle bin, I may decide to spread some of it later. Hope to get one of the bins empty today or tomorrow so I can start re-filling the other section.

Everything is still on lock down so no early shopping. Nurseries have the OK to open, they will just have to deal with crowd control. To help with that, we will plan to go as few of times as we can. We could have bought seeds online or at the grocery store but will wait to help out the nurseries.

18 degrees this AM when we got up ... should be back in the 60's by next week.
