Same melon, two views

So far we have had two good watermelons. And one that we picked too early.

No idea what happened to this one. It looks good from the yard. Then yesterday I was clearing the tomato plant next to it and saw this side. The dark side :(

I had thought of going to get garlic plants today but decided to stay closer to home.

The only other thing I did besides throw this melon was water my new planting of strawberries. It looks like they are all going to take. It also looks like they have now taken over half of that garden.

Plan is to rototill more of my yard. A few feet here and a few feet there.

The last couple of days have been mostly sit. Now I am getting antsy again.

Time to start digging out the fence to put around the blueberries. And try to remember where I put the large yard waste bags that I was going to use to cover the blueberries.
