Planning ?

I've always used a little cheat-sheet like this for planning my garden. This year I finally measured my garden and changed my grid so it was <> to scale.
The dark area's are the plants that will come back every year. the light grey area is the plan and then I color code what I plant each day/week as it's planted. Not shown, I make a list in date order of when everything was planted and also a graph that shows when each planting of corn and some years, other things will be ready.
Been kind of dragging on getting more into the garden. Planted the corn and new strawberries a week ago. Since that I have been pulling weeds, picking rocks and spreading out compost.
Today is Tuesday, the nursery is open, it's time.
Or so I thought until yesterday. I was talking to a farmer who said it was going to freeze. ??? He lives an hour north of me so I didn't plan on changing my plans ... until I looked at the weather about 10 pm last night. Yes, it is now supposed to freeze here Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday nights. Yikes.
That is going to shorten the growing season. I will still plant my corn today, it might all be ready the same time, we'll see. But anything I purchase today will have to stay in doors for another week. So why get it today? Everyone is still home, lots of people are going to try gardening. I want to get my stuff when the pickings are still good. Last year we waited too long and some varieties were gone.
But before I go, I will have figure out how to get one of these masks to fit. If I was bald, I could just put duck tape around my head to hold my ears back. All the masks we have slide off my ears in less than two seconds.
