My fence is up.
Peas, beans, zucchini, squash and carrots are planted.
Watermelon, tomatoes and peppers are transplanted.
The local nursery was out of onion sets and I forgot sunflower seeds. Also I have not gotten any other flowers or flower seeds other than my morning glories. I did get those planted plus I expect lots of volunteer flowers.
And I haven't gotten my milk weed planted, but the annual stuff is not up yet.
Last year none of my asparagus came up and none this year so I will be planting over that area.
I had rototilled a few days ago and now when I went to rake it even, the sand was dry. Very easy to level but not good for seeds.
I got this garden all leveled off and the other garden leveled where I needed it to plant corn. I debated planting more corn as the other has likely not sprouted yet without any rain. But I have lots of seed so I planted.
The above picture was after I had used the hose a couple of times on the garden. We can only water on odd numbered days and I was working in the garden until dark that time. Then I pulled out the hose and it was somehow plugged. So instead I had to water by hand, instead of by 'sprinkler.' :)
And the next morning the hose was not plugged? Not sure if water in the hose softened what was blocking it or the hose was kinked somewhere I couldn't tell.
... and I had not planned on mowing again without having gotten any rain, but the dandelions don't need rain. So I mowed. Very dry. Not too many places in my yard where the grass is thick enough that I wasn't blowing dirt.

Blueberries still do not look good. I may have to ask the extension service what is likely the cause. The smaller bushes have very few leaves or flowers on the branches. The older bushes are hanging full.
I talked to our new neighbors when I was gardening. They want hints :) Plant what grew last year, not what died last year ??
They have a fenced garden area but they noticed there are a lot of deer tracks inside the fence. Yup, unless your fence is six foot high. I am thinking of double fencing my garden this year. We'll see if that works.
I am now up to four rows of strawberries. Last fall I clipped the shoots and transplanted them into a new row. They look as good as the old rows, just not as think yet.
