Leaves to move

Some of the leaves that need to be moved to the compost pile.

My plan for my three section compost pit was to move the stuff on the top from last years two piles to the third area. Then move the bottom part from those same to area's to the garden. And then fill the two now empty empty ones with last falls leaves.

The compost wasn't as composted as I expected. I put what I could in the third area but still have a few feet of extra compost that didn't fit.

But, all of last falls compost fit in one area so we are OK.

I spread most of the compost on the south garden, the rocky garden. Not sure why. It may have done more good on the sandy area.
