We aren't real good at eating produce stored for the winter. In the back are two crates of potatoes, on the right is a crate of squash with a few red onions and on the left are Walla Walla Onions.
The potatoes ended up in the compost, as did the squash. I re-planted all of the onions that showed signs of life. We should have just eaten the large one on the left as it was still solid, the others had shrunk to a fraction of their size. We'll see what happens.
We did a food run this AM so I picked up a few packs of flower seed with the shortest 'time to bloom.' But I don't have much room left for flowers. I also planted my vining morning glories. One of the packs only about eight seeds in it, the other one had 20-30.
And I also planted my 8th planting of sweet corn, three left to go.
Yesterday when I was out weeding I saw a sunflower that was pushing up it's shell. Today I went looking for it, found it. And as I leaned down to take a picture of it, the shell fell off. Didn't think I was creating that much of a breeze. :)
70+ degrees today and some things looked a little wilty so I will likely water tomorrow even though we just had three inches.

This is last years planting of stawberries, In bloom, in another year they should really fill in. I had thought of transplanting some of the shoots but I just let them fill in.
Even the remains from my old patch might produce something. (and I need to get that straw under them.)
