It rained ! ! !

Three inches in about a day and a half. No down pour, just a steady rain. Shouldn't need to water for the next couple of days. And then the forecast is for rain again Friday and roughly 2-3 days of rain, then 2-3 days no rain. Repeat.

After I counted my Walla Walla onions, I decided I should count all the onions and so I can compare how many I get this fall.

Walla Walla - 104 dry sets plus 18 plants

Candy - 47 dry sets plus 6 plants. (There just happened to be fewer in the container/package I bought)

Peppers - 1 each - Orange Bell, Chocolate Bell, Yellow Bell, Gypsy

Tomato - 1 each - Jelly Bean, Early Girl, MoneyMaker, Gold Metal

Squash - Enterprise (summer,) Table Ace (acorn,) and Zuccini

Watermellon - Jubilee

I went out to start weeding for something to do tonight and I noticed the early planting of corn, the 65 day, has not come up very well. But I don't think it is germination. Where it has come up there are the three stalks, where it hasn't come up there is nothing. If the germination was bad, I would think I would be only getting one here and there. This is the area where the moles have almost raised the whole ground their tunnels are so close together.

I see one time I had put a chart together as to when everything should be coming up and ready to harvest. I think I'll do that again as I have nothing but time this spring.
