Four ears, just enough for the two of us. Most of the 1st planting should be ready in a couple of days. It should have been ready before the 4th, so a little behind. Most planting should be 40-50 stalks/ears of corn. This planting, and another planting, are about half that because of the moles must have eaten the seeds. But it will be enough to hold us until the next planting is ready.

BEES ... I decided to just let them be. Instead of trying to kill them. Once I saw the comb that they were staying around I left it be. Until this afternoon. Then I moved it so it wouldn't be where I want to sit sometime. I had put the comb on top of the ground, or that is where it landed. In one day the bees had dug a hole under the comb so the top was just about level with the ground. I'm guessing in two days they would have had it buried again.

If I remember, I will post a picture of the tracks I found inside my fence, not next to the beans but close enough.

It was supposed to rain on and off all day but we had almost an inch by noon when it quit. The afternoon storms didn't get as far south as we are which is fine.

A 2nd squash should be as big tomorrow as the one we picked yesterday. A few more cherry tomatoes are ready. More peppers will be ready. And we are now going to be eating our own onions as we need them. I ended up pulling a couple more of the small ones last night while I was weeding. (yes, some of the weeds are that big, again.)

Mostly did non-garden stuff today. Maybe tomorrow ...
