One of four tomatoes doesn't look like it is going to make it. I had noticed one branch was looking wilted on Friday night when we got home. Today almost the whole plant is wilted. Everything around it is looking lush and green so I don't think it is water. I did water it extra today and then I was pulling weeks nearby and realized that the ground is damp six plus inches down.
Used some old bungie cords to hold my peas closer to the fence in hopes they grab on to to the fence and not the cords. But either way works.
Everything except the tomato looks good. A squash right next to the wilted tomato has two tiny squash on the vine that have already died ... so ?? Other squash I expect to be ready later this week and we won't be there.
I should have taken a picture of the corn. First planting should be ready Wednesday and it isn't knee high yet and hasn't tasseled. The corn that should be ready on July 25 is already over waist high but I didn't look for tassels.
I ate a few more strawberries that others had missed. FYI ... they tasted better if calyx, that green leafy part at the top of the strawberry. :)
