Compost bin

A few years ago :) we tore down the deck from the back of our house. Last year I finally build a compost bin with the wood. I had planned on building it waist high all the way around but ran out of long boards. Glad I did, it is much easier to turn the composed, move it from one bin to the other. I had the two on the ends full last spring but by this spring that stuff will be able to be turned into just the middle one and then refill the outside ones.

We had had a couple of piles where we had been dumping things the last couple of years and last year I worked those area's up and planted stuff there. Really had some good produce last year.

Tonight I started moving the compost, hard work when you aren't used to it. Then I got to what was still frozen so I had to, or did, quit for tonight.

Drove past a Bachmans location today and their sign said 'pick-ups' only. No in store shopping. Also noticed that no one has set up their temporary green house's yet in the parking lots.

Forecast is for is for snow again on this coming Sunday, Easter. I guess we will know Friday if the lock down is going to stay in place or if they are going to lift it for the weekend, or for good.
