And more weeds ...

This is my 1st load of weeds. Hopefully they don't get this bad again. And I still am not done going over the garden the first time.
But now I can see where stuff is ... and isn't. I did replant sunflowers where they had been eaten off, and I planted them where my final planting of corn was going to go, and I planted them where there was corn missing (because of the mole) in one planting.
Glad I did plant a bunch of flower seeds. At the time I was planting them it looked like I was over planting 5 times. But so far very few flowers have come up.
We did get 1-1/4 inches of rain last night. Most of that came in less than two hours. So I shouldn't need to water until we are ready to leave, if then. As of now we have a half a chance of rain for the next three days.
We had hoped to be back on the road by this weekend. But the local company is slow and I didn't push to just get work, I'm picky and as of now they have enough drivers. So we may be in town for a few extra days, by then my garden should be 'clean.'
Took down enough fence to get into my strawberries and then never got back to look at them close up. From a distance it looks like half of the ripe ones are already past ripe. Opps.Guess that is the first thing I should have looked at when we came home a couple of days ago.
My third batch of corn is already over knee high, not sure why that end of the garden is doing better than the first planting. Tomorrow I need to get out and thin the corn, that is the only thing left to thin.
Other than weed, the only other thing on my list now is to get to the store and see if they have any blue berries on special.
