Ahh ... the reason this is called the travelers garden

The picture is from June 2. We left on a trip that day and this is the first time I have had time to post.

Those are my blueberries, I hope they aren't ripe before I get back ... or the rest of the strawberries either.

I did plan another planting of corn on Tuesday, it should have been Wednesday to be a week apart but we are gone. I had left one more spot in my garden for a final planting to ready in September. That would be if I planted it on Wednesday next week, but it may be Friday or the following Monday before we get back.

... and the garden will need to be weeded, the carrots, beats, peas and beans thinned. The corn thinned to two per hill. Still getting 90% ?? germination on six year old sweatcorn. I was planning on transplanting some sun flowers last week but they might be too big by next week when I get home.

I also don't have a way of knowing how much water the garden is getting while I'm gone. I'm not watering it and not watching the weather to see what we are getting for rain.

It will be interesting.
