A picture of potatoes

That was all the potatoes I could find in my garden. I hadn't planted any but had let a few grow as volunteers.
But just letting them grow anywhere was a problem when I tired to find them this fall. All the vines had died off months ago and they were not planted in any one place. So ... I ended up stabbing most of the big ones with the fork I was using to dig them up.
Usually this fork works good. I call it a silage fork, lots of tines, and the little ones should fall through it. IF the potatoes are planted in a row. So not sure we will even use these. Next year I will just pull them all.
Did pick a few more tomatoes. We are getting about one good one for every 4-5 bad ones.
And there are a few more pepper that can be picked. Right now it looks like frost about five days out. One night ...
I've started burning a stump to make the garden larger, so far I have had two fires and may a scared it a little. Not working the way I planned.
