2024 10 06 - How high?

I have a four foot high fence around this area of the garden and it is only about 10x10 with the pea fence down the middle plus a few cages for the tomatoes and peppers. So there really isn't a lot of room inside the fence.

But now that the rest of the garden has gone brown, I assume it is the deer that have been chewing off the green of my pepper plants and the morning glories that have taken over my pea fence. I have not planted morning glories in this area for over five years and in the spring, they get pulled like any other weeds. So these have all grown since mid summer.

And where I did plant them this year, and have been planting them for the last few years, there were less than a half dozen that made it over a foot tall.
