I have only seen one monarch in my yard this year and no caterpillars. Whatever these are, they are liking my milkweed also.
The aphids like them also. Those I have been spraying with soapy water but so far that has not done any good. No pictures today, but four of my milkweed have just dried up and died. Others have been eaten off and are still alive. Still others are alive but become very deformed.
But I will try planting more again this fall and see what happens.

Not sure what happened to my corn here. Where it is drying up it looks more like blight than drying up because it is fall. Luckily the corn was far enough along that it didn't seem to hurt the ears.
Some of the tomato branches are also starting to die off. That actually kind of helps because now we can reach in the 'jungle' and reach the tomatoes.
And the potato plants turned yellow. Maybe it is just close to fall?
