2024 08 19 - Some grew

I think I have planted about 50 sunflowers so far this year. Some places in this area I have planted and re-planted sunflowers four times.

Not sure why this one survived. Some of the sunflowers that are this close to the fence have been chewed off at fence level.

Not sure what is getting them. The fence seems to be keeping out the deer and the rabbits out. So birds? Worms?

There are three more sunflowers that are about five feet tall.
