2024 07 20 - It is not just the garden that has issues

The lilacs by the house and the apple tree on the property line have both been there since we bought the house almost 30 years ago.

Finally watering the garden, no 1-3 inch rains lately.

We have been picking more peas, beans and tomatoes but only one more zucchini so far.

I finally broke down and went to a local place that has fresh sweet corn. The first stuff they get is trucked up from IN every other night. This year they are getting it from a farmer by Elk River that got theirs in early. They think their own corn will be ready sometime next week. I'm hoping mine will be ready by then too.

BB wouldn't even try it. My corn never gets this big, there was only one ear that was good, but I did eat it all evenentually.
