We finally got out there to pick in the garden. This was todays pick.

A couple of double zucchini, beans, peas, peppers and tomatoes. The bigger double one we just composted so not sure what it looked like inside. The other one looks like it was two separate ones that grew together.

We had been gone five days so I hadn't looked at it at all then and don't always look every day. But to get into that fenced part of the garden I had to move tomato branches. Then I just cut them. I ended up cutting three, four foot branches off the one tomato plant that was blocking the gate. I need bigger cages. These things are five foot high and still growing.

Peas are still doing good. Sometimes they slow down by July but the don't seem to be yet. Beans I'm sure are just getting started, so we'll be composting a lot of those.

If the tomatoes keep growing we will have more than we need. I'm guessing there are 100+ green tomatoes and 5x that more flowers. But some years it seems the plant can't support that much growth and the branches start dying off. I hadn't clipped any when I should have.

The potato leaves are not as bright green as they were, turning more of a yellow. And the first of the corn likely needs another week plus. It should have been ready a week plus ago. And that is in the good garden. Corn in the other garden is not likely to produce before the frost but I am leaving it to see what happens. At some point I may move my fence and seed it in beans for fertilizer.

It's not just the picking, there is clean up that needs to be done also.

The peppers got cut up and frozen, the rest of the stuff was eaten with the next two days.
