2023 08 26 - Seed

Finding seed after the end of the usual planting season is not easy. Even the huge lawn and garden places don't carry it. Walmart still had one brand of leftovers but not what I wanted.

I like to re-plant once the first crop is done but I don't remember to get that seed at the start of the season.

Found this at a farm store in North Branch. They still are selling bulk seed and seem to be doing it year around. What I got today was some bean seed just to have something growing and some red clover for my 'flower area.'

I also wanted some tall grass seed but they were out and the person helping us didn't want to sell it to us anyway. They had some on their rural land and it spreads. I've seen this type of grass growing all over the area and my guess is it will spread into an unkept area. So we didn't get any of the grass seed today, but I will still be looking.

Someone a few blocks from us has some but I think we have only seen the people once in the 20+ years we have lived here.
