Picture: Strawberry patch
What had been lush with leaves and flowers is now shriveled and dormant. Strawberry's do not bounce back from this hind of heat. We were out of town and I don't record temps, but it sounds like temps were in the 90's, sunny and no breese.

Picture: 1st planting of corn.
Where there should have been 30 stalks of corn there is about 8. The first plantings are pretty bad but the next two weeks are closer to 90% of what I planted.
Not really shown on this picture, but the sunflowers I planted between the plantings of corn ... it got about knee high before being chewed off. Maybe 80% chewed off. Somehow they missed a few. Same on the inside. Some are doing OK, some still got chewed off. My guess is by reaching over the fence.
