Picture: After I have hoed so you MAY be able to see the rows.
We were gone 2+ weeks and there has been no rain. But I don't think water is the whole issue. The corn starts up against the grass on the right and then is three rows wide per planting. In each of the first two plantings, only a few stalks are up. The next planting has much more corn that came up so I am guessing it is not a germination issue.
I'm hoping there is enough that the corn can pollinate. None of the first three plantings are doing well :( But I did plant three more plantings of corn. We were gone for an odd number of days so we aren't likely to have corn coming ready every week this year.
One of the new strawberries that was looking the best when I left is now burn and rolled. After watering it did come back some but not all of it.
Sunflowers both in and out of the fence are doing OK, there are also gaps in the rows there but the deer have not eaten them off, yet.
