2022 10 10 - The posts are in

I have gotten old. For a few years I was driving well pipe every other year for someone in the family. It's been two years and I was tired after just the first two posts. Four posts in and I went in a laid down for a couple of hours. I was zapped.

Later, before dark, I did go back out that same day and drove five more posts without needing a break. Now I need to get the fence up. A few posts won't do much to keep the critters out.

The first posts I put up were also going to protect the blackberries this year. Last year the bunnies were living under them and did a lot of damage. Something also ate off most of my raspberries so there were not many this year. Not enough to fence in. And I didn't work on them at all to get them re-established.

BB ate one a few weeks ago that was ready and now there was one that was past ready. These are the rest of them and we plan on being gone when the temps drop so we can't wait until the evening before to pick them.

Some of the leaves on these plants looked like they had already been frozen. Other leaves looked fine.

One more day to work on the fence and then getting leaves put into the compost pile.
