Picture: (out of focus) Raspberries in October.

Most of the raspberry plants had been chewed off this last winter because I had put up a fence to keep the critters out of my blue berries. So the raspberries took the hit. They got a lot of my black berries too but I guess these black berries only produce every other year.

And a few of the strawberries that didn't die are also flowering. The garden is very confused this year.

Still eating sweet corn, but now that I am down to the last planting, I can no longer do that twice a day. Plus there have been a couple of tomatoes. One my wife ate and the other one was bad. But none of the volunteer plants that came up this year got blight.

Picture: Strawberries in bloom and fruit. In October. I'm guessing the critters will get these before I do. There is about a six foot square area of the garden where the strawberries did not dry up and die.

Picture: My last meal of corn. I picked everything with any size of year. Tender corn on Oct 3, a full month beyond a normal year for me.
