2022 07 11 - Gone with the wind

It didn't take much to blow this corn over. I was sitting out weeding when I looked up and saw that the leaves were blowing pretty good. I had no idea that that 'breeze' would have knocked over some of my corn.

A few weeks ago I had hoed this corn because I didn't have time to weed it. Now I have weeded some of it (brown piles between the rows.) If I let the weeds get a good start, then I usually only have to weed once or twice a year and it stays mostly clean.
