2021 10 17 - Frost

PICTURE - Frost on the neighbor's house.

Most of the garden froze off sometime around the 17th. I didn't write it down (and it is now weeks later)

The last of the peppers, tomato's and the egg plants all froze.

Earlier this fall the onion's started growing again.

Good I thought, finally I will get some good sized onions.

But, when I went to dig them, even though they had good roots, they seemed to be pulling all their 'food' from the onion. :(

All the onions were soft, like if they had been growing without any soil in my basement. Even the nice sized ones were now compost.
