Somehow there are a few morning glories that the deer didn't get. Anywhere I weeded the flowers the deer ate them off at the ground. Once they started to grow the deer only got the leaves on one side of the fence. It doesn't look the prettiest but at least now there are flowers.

I don't have flowers listed as being planted here so I am guessing this is from seeds from last year.

I planted rows and rows of these. Only a few survived and this is the only one blooming so far. Short of fencing my whole yard, I am not sure what I need to do to cut down on the deer damage.

IF these are garlic chives, they have been growing here for nine years. I just let them grow, the bees like them and nothing else wants to grow on either side of them so I am guessing nothing much would grow there either.
My 'plan' is to use brick to lay out an area for my milkweed and then add squares for other perennial flowers. The annuals I plant do not bloom until mid-August if at all. Have to have a plan ...
The last of the zucchini and squash seem to be dying. The bugs are all over the squash but I haven't seen them on the zucchini so I don't think that is the issue of them dying.
