Picture - The produce in the pan is going in the house, as are the peppers and tomatoes. The larger squash are headed to the compost. There were also a couple of zucchini that ended up on the compost before the picture was taken.
We had a couple of family things today so I didn't get out to the garden until late evening. We picked this produce and then picked up a wheel barrel full of weed piles before starting weeding.
By then I only had a half hour to weed. But I am getting close to being done with the big weeds from the first weeding. Other than in my berry patches, those will get weeded sometime later.
We left for work on Thursday, so it would have been Wednesday night that we picked all the zucchini and squash that we thought would be too big within a couple of days. So the ones directly in the wheel barrel are the ones that went from too small on Wednesday night to being too big on Saturday night. I think there were at least two zucchini besides the squash on this picture that had gotten too big.
Corn looks like there MIGHT be a short ear or two tomorrow, if the rodents to not get it tonight.
Other than the two tomatoes shown, nothing else is turning yet. We should have peppers from now until it freezes, the plants didn't get too big but there are a few plants that look to be steady producers.
