Some of the weeks are good. waist high. The bad news this year is we haven't had any/much rain in those three weeks and it was often in the 90's. The only thing it was good for was my yard. The yard is a little long and going to seed, but it is as green as any of the neighbors. I was afraid I would have a notice from the city telling me I had to cut my hay.

Some weeks are growing good. But usually the whole ground would be green and it is not. What you see above is about a wheel barrel full of weeds. I haven't started on the small stuff yet.

This pepper took the dry and the heat the worst. Most of the other plants we purchased are stunted but look alive.

None of the carrots, peas or sun flowers I planted made it. The 5+ year old corn seed is still doing good. From what I can tell in the weeds, the corn is all growing. A few of the beans are living as well as a few of the flowers, but very few.

All my vining things are still alive, some were transplanted, some were from seeds.

After weeding I will look to see what needs to be filled in now, and with what.

I like to plant corn every 10 days but we were gone 21 so I may be using the seed that matures in fewer days.
