I wish I could fill in the gaps on my blue berries but I was referring to the empty spots in my garden.

I now have room for two more plantings of corn, that corn will be ready in September but we had a late fall last year and I wished I would have planted some later. And I still have room.

And I have one more planting of carrots. I have planted one row about four feet long twice now and have room for one more four foot planting.

The rest of the garden I planted in flowers. I used up last years flower seed and most of this years seed. I just have a little Zinna seed left.

I finished off the last of both kinds of sunflowers, but these are planted outside of my fence. That is what I have always done in the past. Last year I planted them inside of planter cases with the bottoms cut out in hopes to keep the works from getting them. But the bunnies got them instead.

Not sure if this will help, but I have new neighbors with little kids. Will that keep the bunnies away?

I am up to 13 milkweed. One has already been chewed off. I started clipping the grass around the milkweed and realized I was making it easier for the deer to find it. I need to find some early flowers to plant with the milkweed.

No rain forecast for a few days and then only 30%. Hopefully I will still have a live garden when I get back. We will be gone for a couple of weeks.

Non-gardening. I cleaned up three wheel barrel loads of Maple seed/helicopters between my roof gutter and sweeping my driveway. And the trees are not done dropping :(

Not sure if I mentioned it yesterday. Ate my 1st strawberry.
