2021 05 31 - Memorial Day

My local greenhouse was out of onion starters when we were there. I have never been able to find them at any of the other local greenhouses so I drove 60 miles to where I got them last year.

As long as I was there, I looked to see what else they had. Gypsy and Banana peppers. They hadn't had them at our local greenhouse so we bought other peppers. But they only come in four packs. So I bought one (pack) of each.

They also had lots of choices of onions. I stuck with Walla Walla. I would have tried more but they comes packs of about 100 ... I didn't count.

When I was looking at the garden I noticed the beans were 'gone.' A closer look showed they were there, but black.

Then my wife realized they had likely froze last Thursday when they had snow near Eau Claire.
