Snow covered mountains in the distance.
Snow covered mountains in the distance.

This is our third partial day of not working here in California. We chose this cemetery to walk because it has a lot of family markers (21 for today) and it adds less than an hour to our trip back to work.

Every marker here is either flat or on a wall. The area is well marked but the map doesn't match up to real life in a couple of places. But we figured it out.

Today it was a little warmer and almost sunny. So we wore out after about an hour and a half. We briefly looked at a wall but the first one we looked at was wrong. My guess is I am using their maiden name and the wall has their married name.

Today we did all the hard walking. Through the grass, and we moved the car almost every time so we would walk out and back each stop. It's likely we would have walked less if we had just parked our car in a central spot and done more makers between moves.

It looks like what is left are just the wall markers. Those will be easy because they are all on a cement path.

We hadn't really done the math for our time today. We had planned on going to a State Citrus Park after we finished here. But in reality we only had time to eat and drive past the park on our way back to work.

It looks like we found 11 of the 21 at this cemetery. So we will be back.
