This cemetery is now on what would be called 'prime land.' Overlooking both the Pacific Ocean and San Diego.
The cemetery is high above the water and is not flat for very far. But because of how the roads are laid out there is not a lot of area's where you would have to walk very far.
We hadn't decided to come here today or even to San Diego until we were pulling out of the parking lot of our hotel this AM. It had been raining so we had just planned on getting somewhere to spend a nicer day tomorrow.
Then it quit raining so we decided to head to the cemetery today. But first when we got there we sent a half hour eating in the car. A half hour of non-rain.
It did end up raining most of the time we were here today and we were here almost two hours. Way longer than we usually last but the temp was about 60 degrees so it was not too hot and other than sidewalks and parking lots we haven't walked much lately.
We had 16 graves to find today and we found them all without asking for help. A couple of times we spent some time walking until we figured out the logic of the numbering.
