2024 09 10 - CA - Golden Gate National Cemetery

This is Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Francisco.

It is about 15 miles south of the Gold Gate Bridge and about 2 miles west of the SFO airport. The cemetery actually over looks the SFO airport but today the planes are coming in from the south so we can't really see the planes as they come in.

Today I have two grave markers that I want to take pictures of. There is a large map on the left past the entrance that shows the sections and I already have the grave locations so finding them is usually quick at the national cemeteries.

One was a challenge because the sprinklers were running and I had to time my entrance and be quick about it.

This is overlooking part of the cemetery and the airport to the east of the cemetery right up against the bay.
