This is a picture of the gravestone for a 1st cousin of my Swedish grandfather. It is likely that his brother is the person standing next to the marker. This picture was taken about 1905.
The reason for these pictures is the detail on the grave marker.

This picture was taken the first time I visited this cemetery in 2015. The name on the bottom was still readable but the rest of the stone was covered with moss.

I was very surprised when I looked at this stone today and all the moss was gone. It must have taken hours. And who did it? There is no close family living?
IF you look at the marker in the correct light you can still see the markings but weather has mostly removed them.
This was our third cemetery today and we were now up against the clock for getting home before dark. I have already taken pictures of over half of the markers in the cemetery. Today I found another five.
Both sets of my Swedish great-grandparents settled within a mile of this cemetery.
Parking is at the church, the cemetery is actually on both sides of the road. There are bout 650 graves here. But there is not a directory or any grid locations.
