We are home for three plus days, mostly home. We do have something going on each day but I also have a few hours to work in the garden.

The last two days were mostly setup, bought some fertilizer and stopped at our local seasonal greenhouse first and then the next day we stopped at the larger greenhouse.

It was midweek but it looked like the weekend based on how many cars there were.

Sweet potatoes, that is why we went to the larger greenhouse. I have looked online and it said they carry them. They do ... and they were sold out in March or early April.

Today we went to the feed store in North Branch. They are sold out of one of the corn seeds i have been planting the last decade plus. This isn't as big an issue. I just like the different maturities because then I can be gone three weeks at a time between plantings.

I did get enough fertilizer put down that I planted ...

Squash - 2 kinds

Peas

Beets

Swiss Card

Quiona

Celery

Brussel Sprouts

Celery was laying pretty flat when I transplanted it. Then I dumped some water on it and a couple of hours later it was standing up again.

Then I let the sprinkler run for an hour after dark because it is dry, very dry here.
