2026 04 26 - New fence

Taller

My plan had been to use my original fence and add a smaller roll to the top of the fence. But when I went to buy the fence, they now had taller fence than they had had in the past so I bought that instead and am replaceing the whole fence.

And I am also burrying it nine inches in the ground so that bunnies can not just push under it. Another thing I am doing is moving the posts closer tother and using stronger posts. Not that the old posts didn't work I just decided I wanted them all to be the same size and style.

As long as I was re doing my whole fence, I added a few more feet to the garden so there is not much yard left there. I moved it as far as I could without hitting the septic tanks. And in another area, I moved the fence so that now the raspberries are inside the fence. The deer never bothered them the first few years but now they must have gotten a taste for them and chew them back every year.
