2025 07 29 - it stormed

I pulled a branch off my fence before I took this picture.

There was supposed to be a storm coming through Sunday and I even pulled up a chair in my garage after dark to watch. It was a dud.

Then I really did not expect it to storm on Sunday night but about 10 PM the power went off and stayed off until about 2 AM. After picking up a few of them and putting them in our stick pile, I decided to clip the rest of them and put them in the compost pile so that took most of the day.

The wind also blew around the corn.

Not a big deal, it seems to happen every year. It may be because of how the houses are laid out that it creates a wind tunnel.

Yes, it stormed, and it rained. It had rained over a half an inch on Sunday night and then another almost an inch on Monday night so that should hold us this week.
