We had been working Saturday and didn't get home until late afternoon. We did go out and pick about this many blue berries. (The above are actually from 'tomorrow,' the day after we did our first picking.)
For an over all look at the garden. The corn was knee high by the 4th of July. We have had some zucchini to eat and some yellow summer squash that the flower end rotted. The bunnies do not seem to be doing any new damage but it is now too hot to plant beets, carrots, peas.
There is too much garden to weed when I am on the road so I am finally getting to weeding my black berries, I did not weed my blue berries, strawberries or raspberries this year yet.
About half of the 2nd planting of beans made it. Only 10% or so of the first planting of peas are still growing. One beet from the second planting is still growing but no carrots from either planting. 3 of four brussels sprouts from the 3rd planting are growing. 1 of 4 of the Kohlrobi is growing. 2 of the 3 original pepper plants are still growing but none of the 2nd 4 are growing.
